The phone lines are open every weekday from 9:00 to 15:00. The telephone service in Helse Nord, Helse Midt and Helse Sør-Øst will be closed in connection with the summer holidays from 8 July to 26 July.
The patient advisers are nurses who have experience of the specialist health service. They are covered by a duty of confidentiality and can provide information regarding:
- treatment options
- waiting times
- how to switch hospitals
- your rights in the specialist health service
The patient advisers can also provide information about The Health and Work scheme.
