Organ donor card

On this page, you can create a digital organ donor card to add to your summary care record (kjernejournal). You should also inform your friends and family about your wish to be an organ donor.

About the service

If you wish to be an organ donor, it is important to inform your closest friends and family about your choice. It is your intent to donate that decides your status as an organ donor. You can also create a digital organ donor card, which serves as confirmation that your friends and relatives have been informed of your wish.

Anyone can consent to being an organ donor, regardless of age, illness or medication use. In the event that donation becomes relevant, a medical assessment will be made to see if the organs are suitable for transplantation.
